STORY

It’s December 1940, and the creative team of a Broadway show is assembled for a backer’s audition.  Naturally, all is not as it seems, and when the Stage Door Slasher strikes again…and again…it becomes a battle of wits to discover who the killer is.  Bodies are piling up in the snowbanks outside while tensions and accusations mount inside.  The house holds more surprises than a box of Exlax, and no one seems to be who we thought they were.

HISTORY

Encore Entertainment began as the convergence of 2 ideas:

1. I love to _____(sing, dance, act, juggle, play the violin, do graphics, sew…)

2. I like going to shows, but I’m not comfortable with the ______(message, language, cost…)

So in 1992 we began producing an annual variety show that gave all those talented people a place to perform, and the audience a comfortable, light hearted, reasonably priced night out.  Over the last 17 years we’ve done shows set on ocean cruises, in castles, before live radio audiences, involving time travel, and with a western theme.  The last 3 years we’ve done plays that are fun, clean shows that showcase the talents of many people.  We hope you’ll join us this fall for our next comedic venture.
