Commercial: The Law Firm of
Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe

As Croc Hunter fades, a commercial appears: it is one of those commercials for a legal firm of personal-injury lawyers whose ethics are, well, questionable. The company is the Law Firm of Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe. Chief Counsel Huey Dewey (John Paul Buttermore) does all the smooth talking, while his partners, Mr. Cheatham (Rick Whitner) and Mr. Howe (Gil Moon) stand by, looking appropriately serious and concerned.

Dewey looks at the camera and oozes sincerity: "Are you in need of a lawyer? Have you been seriously hurt in an auto accident and don't know where to turn? Are you going to be injured tomorrow? Do you need help to injure someone else? Then call me, Huey Dewey. The injury lawyer."

The first ten seconds of the ad were the worst. The second ten seconds of the ad, they were the worst, too. The third ten seconds the audience didn't enjoy at all, and after that, it went into a bit of a decline. . .
