In the fine tradition of the original Lone Ranger episode we did some
years back, Eric Tonkin again does his one-man show. An we do mean
a one-man show: while the original soundtrack for the 1930s radio
episode played, Eric lip-synched all the parts of the show. In
addition to playing the part of the Lone Ranger. . .

. . .he played the announcer. . .

. . .he played the Lone Ranger's old horse--the one that was
so rudely shot out from under him by. . .

. . .the arch-outlaw Butch Cavendish, who was also responsible
(in a previous episode) for killing all of the Texas Rangers, except one
(can you guess which one?), in the posse that was hunting him
down. . .

. . .he played the Lone Ranger's faithful Indian friend,
Tonto. . .

. . .and he even played Silver, the Lone Ranger's newer,
better, faster horse, whose mind-boggling speed and endurance allowed
the Lone Ranger and Tonto to catch up to and apprehend the vile Butch
Cavendish, and turn him over to the authorities so justice, swift and
sure, could be administered.

After the Eric finished the Lone Ranger act, the jokesters got up and
did, among other things, a take-off on Dr. Bob, from the Muppet
show. So what is this doing in a western-themed show, you ask? Note
that on the operating table is none other than. . . a cow.
And as you can imagine, the bovinity of the jokes was intense:
Nurse Janice (Kristen Babcock): Dr. Bob, where did you get that
patient?
Dr. Bob (Michael Macbeth): I found her with a bunch of cows.
Nurse Janice: Not "bunch." "Herd."
Dr. Bob: Heard what?
Nurse Janice: Herd of cows.
Dr. Bob: Well, sure, I've heard of cows!
Nurse Janice: No, I mean the cow's herd!
Dr. Bob: I don't care if the cows heard. I haven't said anything I should be ashamed of. . .
Nurse Janice: Dr. Bob, aren't you going to operate?
Dr. Bob: No, I think we've milked this joke long enough.
Cow (Tamara Faour): Hey, I've got a steak in this, too, you
know. . .
