Gentle Ben the Ranch Foreman (Ben McGuire) saunters up to the microphone that conveniently happened to be placed in the Larimer Corral, and starts singing the song Cowboy Logic, sung by Michael Martin Murphy:

There's a great American hero

Ben continues through the first verse and into the chorus:

    If it's a fence, mend it;

    Before it burns a hole down in them jeans.
